Give your home curb appeal
Exterior Painting
Your home is undoubtedly one of your most important assets, and the home’s exterior is what is protecting the rest of your home. The exterior of your home faces a constant battle against weather elements, which is why upkeep is essential. Perhaps the color of your home has faded over the years or maybe you’re just looking to give your home a fresh new look to enhance curb appeal. Whatever the reason may be, we are your go-to painting professionals to get the job done efficiently. First, we will perform a detailed inspection of your home and provide an estimate. While paint covers surfaces, we make sure to not cover over any problematic areas that could harm or mask a potentially larger issue. Before we begin painting, we will perform the appropriate preparations to remedy the problem. In the worst case scenario, we will halt our production and advise that a third party be involved to evaluate the situation.
North Atlantic Painting & Builders’ detailed written estimates are indicative of our attention to detail and include a detailed scope of work, pricing, pictures and a Contract Agreement. Transparency and communication throughout the project from your initial call to the estimate to the final walk-through are critical to our ability to exceed your expectations.

Exterior Painting Tips
Remove Dust, Dirt and Mildew
Use a cloth or soft brush to clean off any dust and dirt from the surfaces to be painted. Remove chalk residue with a brush or water, and be sure to remove any mildew.
Clean Gutters, Downspouts and Eaves
When preparing a house for painting, be sure to clean and prime your gutters and downspouts before painting. Under eaves, wash protected areas with a garden hose, using a strong stream of water.
Cover and Protect Areas
Use drop cloths to protect plantings after cutting back shrubs to allow access to the surfaces to be painted using industry standard equipment to ensure proper safety.
Make your personal space special
Interior Painting
North Atlantic Painting & Builders can assist in renovating the interior of your home by painting your walls, ceilings, trim and doors. If wall coverings like wallpaper or murals have outlived their welcome, we can help transform those spaces and bring them back to life. Add a splash of color to your cabinets or built-ins. We can make it happen!

Interior Painting Tips
Picking Colors
The best way to choose a color is to try it out first. You can never make a good decision based on looking at the color swatch in the store. Take it home and tape it to the wall to see how it works within the space and with your room’s lighting.
Clearing the Room
Typically, all wall hangings, window treatments, appliances, and furniture will need to be moved by the customer prior to our arrival. We’re happy to assist with moving large furniture or appliances at the customer’s request.
Washing the Walls
Because surface dirt can cause poor adhesion, use a light detergent to wash surfaces that are soiled, that are touched often, or that may have any oily residue from cooking. Take care not to leave any residue from the detergent.
Carpentry
North Atlantic Painting & Builders can help you with your carpentry projects big or small. Whether it’s a bathroom or kitchen renovation or a house addition, we’ve got you covered. Let us manage the project and sit back and watch your home improvement dreams come to reality.

Carpentry Tips
Measure twice, cut once
Know it, learn it, live it. You’ve heard it a million times, but it’s one of the top tips, save your money and time and just do it.
Materials
Choose the right wood – always check your lumber for warping, knots or metal (nails/staples) before you start. Kiln-dried wood is best to prevent future shrinking or shape changes.
Clean Regularly
A tidy workspace prevents trip hazards and keeps sawdust from interfering with your measurements or tool accuracy.
